The theme tune to the BBC TV series The Vicar of Dibley has already joined the ranks of best-loved TV themes - not surprising when one considers that its composer has written many other memorable themes, including those to the Black Adder and Red Dwarf series. Psalm 23 (The Lord is my shepherd) is a strikingly lyrical setting that has been embraced in its original SATB version by choirs the world over.
