Superduets ! For cello provides a wonderful repertoire of original and entertaining duets for beginner cellists. They can be started as soon as the pupils have mastered the basics of picking up the cello and bow, know exactly which string is which and are just beginning to understand staff notation. Each piece starts with a 'rhythm and beat rehearsal' which then leads into the concert piece, and either part can be played by the pupils.
