I am using ‘Highest Practical Exam Pass’ and the ‘Highest Theory Exam Pass’ for my top pupils this year in each marking bracket.

The Rosettes are displayed in my teaching area for all my pupils and their parents to see at the lesson.

When I use these Rosettes the targets are Highest Pass, Highest Merit and Highest Distinction marks. This way even those who can't achieve a distinction get a chance to be highest in their mark range.

For the highest mark in the pass bracket I use a budget (small) rosette, the highest merit mark achieves a (medium) Deluxe Rosette and the highest distinction is an Elegant (large) rosette.
