Cantate contains short chants and songs for worship

It aims to provide music for all kinds of worship: principally the Eucharist which is the heart of Christian worship;

but also many other occasions when people gather in larger or smaller groups, both formal and informal:

services of Word and Communion, services of prayer and adoration such as Prayer Around the Cross, The Prayer of the Church (e.g. morning and evening prayer), and any other occasion.

The book of 207 pieces can both stand alone and serve as a supplement to any parish hymnal, particularly Laudate.

It includes many new pieces and recent songs from Walker, Farrell, Haugen, the Taizé community etc.
