Initially introspective and brooding, this challenging short anthem grows into a passionate 'divisi' climax

O Vos Omnes (a setting of verse 12 of Lamentations 1) reminds me in places of O sacrum convivium by Messiaen, mixed at times with the sweeping intervals of Poulenc. Singers with perfect pitch would be an advantage, as maintaining a cohesive tonality will be a problem otherwise; the soprano reaches top Bb and stays there for two-and-a-bit bars.
