Charity is the act of giving money and time to help others. It's often, but not always, conducted through a registered non-profit organization. Charity pays dividends in helping others and in promoting your own personal growth. Charitable donations are a Direct Reflection of My Organisations Values To contribute money towards something that the supporter of your organisations feel has importance is giving back to society. If I want to see food available to homeless people in my community, I can donate to the local food pantry or soup kitchen. If I want to fight global warming, there are plenty of organizations that are fighting for such change. If I want to help children in a developing country, you can donate to a world Education or Health fund. The real question is whether your organisation has found something with enough importance to you to speak out with your Charity Music Case. Giving charity is a fundamental part of many world views and feeds into the philosophy of "do as you would be done by." Potential The Charity you donate to represents a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. For example, you can give a homeless person a dollar, or you can give money to a homeless rights charity that will combine your money with other dollars to offer services worth much more than a dollar. Accountability The charities Music Corner recommend are accountable for what they do. Governments and organizations like the Better Business Bureau assess them and let you know whether they manage their money well. Significance Charity is the means by which many great works are accomplished. Charity ensures that museums stay open, that the hungry are fed, and that communities enter into dialogs with one another, major diseases are cured and world health, education and equal rights issues are addressed. £1 of every £100 spent by your supporters with www.musiccorner.co.uk goes towards a cause beyond what you can manage in your daily life; a cause that combined with the similar actions of others can actually bring about change in the world. Which charity you donate to is the decision of you organisation. It can be - A bulk donation,
- A steady donation to support a child in the developing world, or
- A split between different charities which could include your own charity.
The only conditions are that Music Corner be given the charity number and write the cheque on your behalf. You will be given the full correspondence details and be named as the body making the donation. Thank you for your support in making the world a better place for someone.
