As we all know; if a private music teacher does not work there is no pay.
It is very tempting to put a few pupils in over Christmas, a couple at Easter.
How tempting it is to battle on, whilst you are really to ill to teach, due to much needed finances.
We suggest an answer. All that is required is self-discipline and a separate building society account. Don't use your normal account, it is too tempting to dip in! Have a special account.
If £1.00 is pt away, 'per pupil' per week, during term time, a sizable amount will accumulate. This, in effect, will be Holiday Pay.
25 pupils having 40 lessons a year will give £1,000 of holiday pay to cover 12 weeks holiday.
This equals £83.00 per week, each week of your holiday.
Don't forget that building societies give interest.
