Passage Genesis 12:1-3: Abram and Sarai (Abraham and Sarah)– Symbol Tent – a great promise through pain This must have been a hard pill to follow, God asked Abram to leave everything he understood, held close yet followed a different life to the one he believed. Well all who believe in God do this, as they leave what they know and are comfy with to follow God. However the part of the promise underlined holds the key to everything. This promise points directly to the coming Christ, but how can all families be blessed by Him when so many do not know Him? Simply God is available to all no matter who or where they are. God told Abram: "Leave your country, your family, and your father's home for a land that I will show you. I'll make you a great nation and bless you. I'll make you famous; you'll be a blessing. I'll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I'll curse. All the families of the Earth will be blessed through you."
