What a great morning at Church this morning, Mothering Sunday, with the children from Canon Burrows C.E. Primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne leading the singing with three songs from Share the Light. The children sang, I am special, Sing for Joy, and the Circle Song. Our two Sunday Schools which included Canon Johnson's Sunday school were also helping.
When they sang the Circle Song the Vicar, Rev. Lee Longden had all the children making a circle around the Church, surrounding all the adults in the pews as they sang. He explained all about the circle of God's love.
This book and also the CD/DVD is absolutely wonderful and every song is a gem. I will definitely be using the rest of the collection at Christ Church, Ashton.
