It is a good plan to make all your parents aware of your incentives and services
Activity
Plan your events so that one runs after the other. Extra activities stimulate practice.
Awareness
Keep your parents int he picture. If the parents are involved and interested, the children will follow.
Attitude
Encourage a pupil to have an aim. When a pupil has a goal he has a positive attitude towards practising and achieves results.
No aim .... wrong attitude .... poor results
Aim .... positive attitude .... good results
Achievements
Achievements can be small or large. Concerts, exams, sponsors etc..
Whatever the size of the achievement, if the pupil knows that you are impressed, it will guarantee a confidence booster.
Ability
Everyone has the potential to play an instrument and read music. All they have to do is WANT TO be able to do it. A music teacher needs to tap into the power of WANT... then anything is possible.
