Tonci Huljic was born on October 29 1961 in Split. Croatia. The multicultural diversity of the region of former Yugoslavia has strongly influenced his musical expression. Following his major success in pop music genre, he started to experiment with easy listening classical music. Crossover and the new fusion of styles seemed to be a natural development of his work as an author. While creating the specific noveau-classic style, he was in search of an ideal performer. Maksim Mrvica, having a distinctive and eccentric piano style and striking looks. Seemed like a perfect choice. With help from Mel Bush, in the role of a business strategist and impresario, successful collaboration resulted in five CD’s published between 2002 and 2007. This Book of sheet music for Maksim Mrvica was created to respond to requests coming all over the world, inquiring about the piano scores recorded on the albums. We would also want it to become an inspiration for Children and Young People, so that music and piano may become inseparable part of their lives. |
