Music lovers had to take a second look when a Russell Watson look and sound-a-like came to Tameside for a special charity concert.
This was just one of a dozen talented musicians who entertained a packed venue in a four hour gala raising money for Willow Wood Hospice. And the success of Tameside's first Musical Extravaganza at Ashton's Masonic Hall has urged organisers from The Music Corner in the market hall, John and christine Caton-Greasley, to set out plans for next years fund raising campaign.
"It was absolutely brilliant" Christine said "We are going to be running again and make it an annual event as it was so successful"
The market stall raised a total of £1,800.00 all together over the year since they opened.
