We sometimes receive emails saying ... "just to say that I immediately ceased reading your web site when I saw that at its heading you write 'A Christian Company '. another example is "I was just perusing your website and happened to notice that you make it very clear that you are a "christian company". Just out of sheer curiosity, why do feel this is necessary to point out to your customers when your products bear no relation to Christianity? Is this some form of marketing tactic to encourage more customers ie Christians. If any other company, selling as a random example, shoes, bore the statement "a Masonic company", all hell would break loose and they would be branded corrupt and mainpulative. Not really much difference is there? From an evangelical point of view, surely a website selling musical instruments is not really the place to be talking religion? There being a time and a place for everything. Would be intrigued to understand your motive." These emails make me assess what I include on my and my views and re think about as to why I have done something. It's not a way to advertise it's just simply a fact that we are happy to state and establishes an element of trust. My site and my business are not just a web store like Amazon or another music shop etc ... it's my personal site too where I put pieces or creative writing, hobbies, free music, discussions on religious topics etc. I have no problem with it as it is part of what I am and therefore I find it natural to put it on my site. It is not as random as a masonic owned company selling shoes as we do sell many items that are of interest to churches only in our sheet music and choral ranges. Many of our instruments are used in churches and we have ranges that have religeous decoration or shapes. I am happy our products are closley related to our beliefs. I hope this helps clear a few things up.
