Tameside folk are invited to come in fancy dress to a party to celebrate Beethoven's 230th birthday.
The Music Corner in Ashton Indoor Market is holding a musical day on Saturday to honour the late, great composer.

Everyone is invited to go along and try their hand at playing an instrument.

The event follows the success of the Music Corner's party for music genius George Gershwin in September.
the fun starts at 10.00am and will last throughout the day.

The rev. Dennis Thomas, from St Mark's and St Luke's churches in Dukinfield, will draw the raffle at 12.00 noon.

Up for grabs will be a guitar, a book, a plectrum and a bag.

The Music Corner, set up by the Sycamore Music School in Dukinfield, recently held a recorder day, where people were invited to try their hand at the recorder.
