Tamesider's help to mark Beethoven's 230th birthday in style at the weekend.

The Music Corner in Ashton Indoor Market got into the spirit of the music maestro's birthday by inviting anyone to cme and try their hand at his compostions.

One eight-year-old girl came to the stall and belted out Beethoven on the electric piano to the astonishment of the staff.

Staff also had fun dressing up in period costume.

The event raised £130.00 for Willow Wood Hospice.
This Saturday staff will raise more cash for the hospice by inviting four saxophonists to perfom Christmas Carols. they will be at the stall from 11am till 2pm.
