Ice cool all the way from Grade 1 - 6

The ‘Cool Piano’ series is a collection of fun-to-play pieces in a wide variety of exciting, modern styles. The pieces are lively and attractive, with plenty of variety of style, key and tempo. The melodies are strong and the harmonies adventurous.

Each book contains 12 pieces and the progressive books correspond to Grades 1 – 6 standard. Children and young people will love the funky tunes, which contrast excitingly with more formal exam pieces.

The pieces can be played on either piano or electronic keyboard.

Heather Hammond studied piano and clarinet at Leeds College of Music and took postgraduate courses in teaching and music technology. She was a music specialist at a primary school for a number of years. She currently lives in York, dividing her time between teaching and composing. She has been a customer at Music Corner for over 10 years!
