Well we started off with a board of polystyrene and stuck onto it egg box cups, metal bun cups, plastic bottle's etc...
Then we covered it all over with newspaper coated in 50% wallpaper paste and 25% PVA and 25% water. We did three layers and sat it over a radiator to dry for 48 hours. That is the top two pictures.
When these layers were dry we painted it with three shades of grey paint (one per child) all mixed with sawdust. It was great fun.
As this was drying we made our rocket and lunar landing craft form non other then the humble loo-roll and tin foil. The lunar landing craft has hair grips for feet.
