These fan fics are to show appreciation to Ms Rowling for her amazing imagination.

All characters mentioned are her copyright exclusivly and I only use them here as an appreciation of her huge talent.

“We have been waiting for this day for many years Anna, if I am correct with my assumptions your life will be changing quite a lot. Narcissa and I will help you learn the ways of our world, if you would like to that is.”

We walked into the centre of the room; people and, well it was quite difficult to say what else just parted and nodded a greeting in our direction. We passed small creatures with very knobbly and greasy skin. Their ears were rather oversized to their faces and somewhat pointed. It reminded me of Mr Spock from Star Trek with a skin problem. Their feet were uncannily large but they were dressed with impeccable style of a well-to-do businessman of the 18th century, albeit with no shoes or hat. Intermingling with these tiny ‘people’ were some very tall ‘people’ with a very large frame, nearly double the size of a man. Their dress was somewhat ancient in design. As if it hadn’t changed in hundreds of years. It mainly consisted of natural coloured skins and Hessian based fabrics. Many had a waist pouch that was hung on quite a hefty belt with a superb buckle that struck me as being very Celtic. This posed a very striking difference in both presentation and stature, which offered an unusual optical allusion.

The grey toned characters unnerved me a little, here and there one was grunting with the Mr Spock style creature. Strangely enough the short character seemed to understand the grunts. Maybe he was a translator. What gave me the greatest shock was not so much the grey pallor, which in itself is highly peculiar, but the length of their arms. They nearly touched the floor with such huge hands. When on looked at me I saw they only had one eye, when he saw the shock on my face he grinned from ear to ear. This was quite incredible considering their size and shape. The grin was so wide I noticed he only had one tooth on each jaw. Narcissa saw my somewhat confused expression and laughed.

“You seem to know very little considering you’re past Anna. All will become clear soon but for now the tall grey creatures are Trolls, they are classed as beasts but can talk through the shorter creatures, They are Goblins, they look after the money I our world. The tallest creature here is a half giant. Born of giant and,” she faltered “we will say human for now”

“But” I replied, “giants, trolls and goblins are things of children’s stories are they not?”

“Ah, that is what you have chosen, or we have lead, you to believe” she laughed, “It depends which way you look at it”

“Oh” I said rather dumbly thinking it is a jolly good job Mike is not here.

“Now it is time to see if you have the skills we think you have” Narcissa stated in a quite matter of fact way.

We stood in front of man, rather pale in completion, ‘Hmm he could do with a week on Mum’s farm’ I pondered.

“Good evening Severus, nice of you to join us, how is life at Hogwarts?” the last word seemed to leave a foul taste in Mr Malfoy’s mouth.

“Acceptable, Lucius, I’d prefer the Defence against the Dark Arts position as well you know, they have another buffoon in the job now. I really don’t know what Dumbledore is thinking about; it would be quite simple for me to fill both positions.”

“Ah, but it is an advantage to Lord Voldemort that the position is not filled by someone who is skilled in the subject” Lucius sneered “It makes my job so much easier”

“Now Lucius, you know I do not…”

“I know Severus it’s OK, friends that is all” Lucius said in an undertone, “but not at the moment there is someone you must meet. I spoke of her too you at our last meeting” nodded towards me “I need to know where she stands on things”

“Snape, let me introduce Anna Jameson” Interjected Narcissa, “She is of the line of the Ancient and Most Noble Jamesons who were lost to our world a century ago.”

Whoa, no wonder I needed a clear head, the line of what, who!

“Would you do the honours Snape, you are still practising Legilimancy I believe.” Narcissa purred.

“I am as well you know, please do not use that façade with me, I know you too well Malfoy;” with that Snape turned to face me, “My dear have you an idea what we are talking about?” he enquired.

I shook my head, “then I really should ask for your permission seen as you are, maybe, Malfoy blood. Do you consent? I can assure you it will not hurt or have any lasting affects side such. All I need to do is look at you, I will not touch you in any way.”

Sounded Ok, what damage could that do? At best, they could be a weird group who are under a delusion, at best there could be something in it after all it was obvious from the characters in the room that there was something different and real. And I was sure the Miss Browns had been hiding something. No one new how Miss Brown 1 had died, only that she had been unusual and so had her death. People expected an unusual end to an unusual person so no questions were asked.

“OK, but I am a little unsure about the – ‘as such’ but go-on it’s Ok”, I finally replied, “Maybe then someone could tell me what all this is about”

“Yes Anna, we will” confirmed Lucius “Whatever Severus reveals”.

“Come Miss Jameson…Anna let me see what I can see” Snape spoke quite soflty, could I trust him? What, after all, could a look do. He looked right at me, right into my eyes, his didn’t blink. It was so strange I could not break his gaze, it seemed to last an age. I felt an anger grow inside me, a fury then a peace so strange, so comforting and warm, it was if the clouds were clearing on a hot summers’ day. What was this strange man? It felt as if he could see everything I had ever seen or done, as if he was somehow part of it. I sensed he that he was looking for something as every now and then his gaze paused on something in my history and then moved on. Everytime he paused was on an event I could not explain, what was he looking for?

“Well Severus?” came Lucius’s voice through the sunlight and brought me back to earth with a bump. “What do you see?”

“Unusual and unexpected Lucius and very interesting. I am impressed with your observations. All this time you were watching for signs, how long has it been now?”

“Nearly a hundered years Severus” Lucius replied, “My family has been watching, Why did it have to happen in my time of stewardship of the agreement? You know how I find this combination of our blood. But it is the time of my honour. You know the enchantment do you not Severus”

“No, I know of it but not the details, enlighten me then I will reveal the information you require”

“Excuse, I am still here, could someone please explain what is going on,” I interjected. “What blood, what agreement and what on earth is an enchantment!” I demanded.

“Yes Anna, you may as well hear too, if it is not required or accepted we can perform a memory charm and you will return to your past and we will continue as before” Narciassa replied quite calmly “Lucius please reveal to us all this enchantment, even I, from the most Noble..”

“yes, yes OK we know all about your house but Anna’s is, I correct was, as Noble and Ancient until the accident. So the scroll reads as thus

My great-great-great grandmother was of the Jameson line. After her, because of a magic accident that St Mungos could not reverse, there were three generations of sqibs, Ms Jamesons is the first magic Jameson for nearly 100 years. The Jameson’s left the world of magic to be as muggles by choice but married into the muggle world and diluted the blood.

BUT every Malfoy has to honour any Jameson who re-emerges with the gift of magic for the magic binding the families and the land for 1000 years in the hope that a non-squib would arise.

The land will only produce good crops, no matter where they were planted or temperature or weather. The crops would only be sold at a good price, as the buyer would be bewitched into buying them. This way we could ensure the family lived in the comfort expected of a Malfoy.

If a non-squib arrived my family and I are bound to accept them as pure blood because the accident was due to inappropriate experimenting by a Malfoy pure blood.

If I do not accept them as pure blood then the Malfoy family and I will fail and the line will die out starting with the direct line then all who are related by marriage. You realise that with our standing this will mean most of the pure bloods will perish unless the enchantments can be reversed.

If the person does not except the lineage of his or her families is pure magic blood then the enchantment on the land will fail but the family will retain the land and I will be released from this burden.

If I accept the person and the person accepts the Malfoys as their family of old then the power of the Malfoy-Jameson’s will return and flourish”
