The name Ichthus comes from the Greek IXOYE which is an acronym for Iesous Christos, Theou Yios, Soter. Translated from the Greek IXOYE means "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Saviour".
Anna Jameson-Malfoy FanFic Chapter 3 by C L Caton-Greasley

These fan fics are to show appreciation to Ms Rowling for her amazing imagination.

All characters mentioned are her copyright exclusivly and I only use them here as an appreciation of her huge talent.

Friday dawned cloudy and raining hard, not a good start to the day. As I prepared the orders I actually had a fluttering of anticipation. Mr Malfoy’s order was important to the business, it was the regulars that kept the business afloat and I would hate to loose any of them. When it came to money the Malfoy’s tab was always cleared on the 30th of each month. I could actually do with some more prompt payers. A little later I glanced over the accounts. The Malfoy’s paid by standing order, I a phone call to the bank was in order. Yes, the standing order had not been cancelled and the bank paying it was Gringots. Interesting, must be a foreign bank.

The rain lasted until mid afternoon, after which it brightened up considerably. I started to think about what the evening held. I had purposely stopped myself from thinking about it all week as there were so many unknown’s that one could only surmise what might actually happen. I closed the shop an hour early, I told Mike I would collect him at 8.00pm or just after as I had to collect Mr Malfoy’s vegetable box first. We would then make our way to the manor, dropping off the vegetable box first and then meeting this ‘Dobby’ at the main door.

What to wear; the dilemma of any lady going for an evening out. I choose a green satin sheath dress that dropped to the ground. The cut gave it a graceful flowing movement in case there was any dancing. To compliment it a simple silver and emerald choker and earring set that echoed the snake that appeared on the scroll.

Mike looked quite stunning when I collected him, to be honest I’d never noticed much about him but when he was dressed in a tux and bow tie he looked stunning.

“Sorry Anna” he said “I have just had a date I cannot refuse, it’s Lara from the Hospital, you know I have been after this one for ages” he held his breath….

“I’m really sorry, but you’ll be OK without me. You know how sure of yourself you are, and you are always going places by yourself” he tried to look convincing.

“To be honest Mike I do not know” I replied truthfully. “I am rather nervous but you are probably right”…I shook my head… “No, I know” I replied.

I had not told him about the letter, or the snake. I guess I understood, why would he want to spend the rest of the day with his boss. I just was very unsure what to expect this evening.

“You go and have a great time. If I’m not back tomorrow to open up you know where I was last” I laughed nervously. “You’ll be fine” Trust a guy to let me down… “Tara then” well here I was on my own and on an adventure, how would tonight change my life.

The manor gates opened as I drove to them, nothing usual there they always did. I had always though this was by sensor, I looked more carefully tonight and I couldn’t see a sensor box anywhere, maybe it was because of the dark, maybe…. more questions. I struggled getting the vegetable box to the outhouse it was quite a job in full evening dress’ I wished Mike had helped at least with this bit. It was quite strange actually because the more frustrated I was the lighter the box was. Things like this often happened. When I got annoyed or frustrated things suddenly became easier. After I had delivered the box I made my way back to the car, glancing back to make sure I had it right, wow it had gone, they must have been desperate for those, I hadn’t even heard a footfall.

I made my way up to the main gates leaving the car in the small but empty parking area. If it was supposed to be a party where were all the cars?

A small character met me at an incredible large oak door; he had adorable large eyes and still wore what could be best described as a pillowslip.

“Hello” I said “You must be Dobby, I believe I saw you the last week in the flowers”

“Good evening Ma’am, it is a pleasure to welcome to you to the home of the Malfoy family” he bowed so low I wondered if he did yoga! “Please enter and follow me.”

The door opened and revealed a long door-less corridor. As we walked down the corridor doors appeared in the wall as we passed them, then disappeared once we has passed. This was a very strange house. Dobby choose a door on the right, about half way down. It opened into a room that was very sumptuously decorated in rich greens and silvers. As we entered the room a tall man stood with a very attractive lady on the left, a definite advantage as the door hid them ever so slightly; I am sure they saw us first. The man was tanned with long blond hair and the lady had pale skin in contrast with equally long blonde hair. They were quite a stunning couple to look at.

“Well, well, well Ms Jameson, so nice to meet you at last. Your vegetables are quite delicious; as of course are your mothers’ fruit preserves. You must be very content to stay in this village; very content or very committed to this slow way of life. And your friend, Mr Harper, he has let you down? Well that is to be expected from his sort” He seemed to know an awful lot and what did he mean his sort?

“Now let me see you brought the delivery, light was it? You have met Dobby, my servant, has he taken your coats, yes, good. You must be thirsty; Dobby drinks please,”
Drinks arrived with seconds – the kitchens must be close. With no more than a thank you to him the drinks were taken and a large er, water, was passed my way.

“your head must be clear, at least for a while I know how wine affects you” they both smiled knowingly “Come” Mr Malfoy, continued, “let me introduce some friends and business colleagues.”
“Oh, by the way Ms Jameson I did not like those jeans with that baggy t-shirt you wore the day after you received our scroll;” stated Narcissa rather casually “please follow …” with that they turned, completely ignored Dobby and proceeded down the hall.

That comment about the jeans threw me how did she know about that! Maybe later it would come up again “…I will discuss it with you later Ms Jameson, may I call you Anna” This couple seemed to be able to read minds. No wonder they said I needed a clear head.

We proceeded in silence through the next door, which was invisible until you were in front of it.
“Excuse me,” I said, “These doors are amazing, how do they work, may I ask”
“They are enchanted” Narcissa replied, "A speciality of mine, they are invisible and sound proof”

As we walked through the door I was surprised to be in a room filled with guests, some looked what you could call normal however they were in all manner of outfits. Some however were not so recognisable, some very small, and some very tall. Speaking of height the ceiling was so high it must have covered two floors at least. I think it had a glass roof, as all I could see was stars.

“Now Anna come let me introduce you to some people you really should know, if I am right all will become clear very soon.”
