Blues Scales
The Blues scale is made up of the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th notes of a major scale, then flatten the 3rd and 7th.
For example the Blues scale in C would be (C, D, Eb, F, G, Bb).

Pentatonic Scales
This scale is found in European folk melodies and can be described as (TONE, TONE AND A HALF, TONE, TONE, TONE AND A HALF).


Whole Tone Scales
This scale uses only intervals of one tone. For example a Whole Tone scale starting on C would consist of (C, D, E, F sharp, G sharp, A sharp, C).
