A stall holder at Ashton's Phoenix Market Hall is appealing for piano players to raise cash for needy kids.
The pianists are urgently needed to take part in a week-long "Playathon" for BBC Children in Need.
The Playathon will be staged by John Caton-Greasley from Music Corner tomorrow (Friday) until Friday 19th November.
It will cost £1 to play, proceeds from which will go to Children in Need.
John has also donated a digital piano worth £500 which will be auctioned for the charity. it costs £1 to make a bid and the latest highest bid will be displayed on the piano.
John says he is very excited abpout the event.
"We always like to get involved in charity work. We've helped out with Willow Wood, Christie's and the Phoenix Fund in the past, so we thought Children in Need would be a good one to do next." he said.
"Fifteen players have come forward to play and we're hoping to get a lot more."
"People of any ability are welcome to have a go and they can play whatever they want."
"The bid for the piano is upto £260 already and we are hoping for a lot more."
