The three year anniversary of the pop mega stars death was marked yesterday when fans commemorated the three-year anniversary of the pop icon's death by sending an amazing array of 10,000 blooms to the last resting place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
The social networking sites provided Michael's supporters an ideal way to raise money around the world to fund this fitting display to commemorate one of the largest stars of our time. Over $30,000 was collected which they used to pay for the countless bouquet of red roses.
The flowers will not be wasted, instead they are going to be distributed to senior centres and other places to brighten people's days.
Meanwhile Dr. Conrad Murray, who is serving four years in jail for the involuntary manslaughter of the King of Pop , was seen in a newly-released video clip today shot before his imprisonment. The physician convicted of killing Michael Jackson has stated he regrets not testifying on his own behalf while on trial last year. Dr. Conrad Murray, hired as the "Thriller" singer's personal physician in 2009, began serving a four-year jail term in November after a jury found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors argued during the six-week trial that Murray was grossly negligent in administering a surgical aesthetic as a sleep aid to and that the doctor failed to properly monitor the results.
It is also claimed that Murray delayed in calling for emergency assistance when the singer stopped breathing the night of his death.
Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has tweeted a poignant message about her father on the three-year anniversary of his death. The 14-year-old took to the social networking site today to let the world know she was thinking about the Thriller star. 'RIP Michael Jackson,' she wrote. 'Dad you will forever be in my heart <3 I love you.'
