Well, call me oldfashioned...this book has been around for a long time and I use this regularly with my pre grade one pupils.
It hasn't got the attractive pictures of other books, but it really seems to encourage the children with reading the notes.
The hand positions are marked with, ' ,and the system works so well. A little study to work out the set hand positions, the best ones to start with are Away in a manger and Good king Wenceslas, I do a 'silent practice' with my pupils to start with for hand positions before playing.
I thoroughly recommend this carol book
