Ritual Moments
Rituals are a part of our daily lives. When we experience a ritual moment significant enough to be memorable, our recollection of the event is often made stronger by the music we associate with it. Within the church, ritual and sacrament shape the way we worship, and music complements these meaningful moments of grace. Paul Inwood worked for 14 years at the St. Thomas More Centre for Pastoral Liturgy in England, served five years as a cathedral organist, and another five years as a diocesan director of music. He was based in Southern California from 1991 to 1995, but returned to England as director of music for the cathedral in the Diocese of Portsmouth, England, and later as Director of Liturgy for the diocese.
